This is our planned pickup route but it is subject to change based on final location of fliers.
Pickup schedule
The north trailer will pull out of Benson North Carolina at 6 PM Thursday May 13, 2010 going north on I-95. Depending on our stops we expect to arrive at Colonial Heights Virginia at about 9:30 PM. The trailer will leave Colonial Heights at 10:00PM and then go south to I-85 heading to Hillsborough NC. We expect to arrive at the RDU club approx. 1:30 AM.
The south trailer will pull out of Benson NC May 13, 2010 at 4 PM and go south on I-95, then west on I-20. We expect to be at Columbia SC at approx. 9:30 PM. We plan on leaving Columbia at 10:15 PM arriving at Charlotte NC at approx. 12:30 AM. Then continuing north on I-85 to Hillsborough NC where we should reach the RDU club at approx. 5:00 AM.
Baskets will be transferred to the large trailer and it will depart May 14, 2010 at 8 AM. We anticipate it taking about 14 hours to drive to Vincennes Indiana putting the birds at the race station at approx. 10 PM. This will give the driver plenty of time to feed and water the birds.
This is all subject to final number of pick-ups and traffic.
